The New Magic Word

We are slowly emerging from panic mode regarding Ebola, but it's still easy to set off tremors by merely suggesting that your illness might have been connected to West Africa. At the Phoenix Municipal Courthouse, a man called 911 to say he felt sick and that his wife had recently traveled to Liberia. That set off a hazmat response, a CDC investigation, street closures, and the determination that he was lying about the Liberia thing and does not have Ebola. Really, this might be the new, surefire way to avoid something like a court hearing. (KTVK/Phoenix)
