No NCIS For You
-
The conflict is going down to the wire, and there's a chance that come Thursday, Dish Network subscribers will lose CBS-owned stations in owned-and-operated markets, which means New York, L.A., Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas, Detroit, Denver, Miami, Sacramento, Baltimore, Minneapolis-St. Paul and its satellite stations, and Pittsburgh. And you're sick of this, right? Your cable company and content providers do the pay-me-or-else dance, and somehow you end up screwed either way. The cable/satellite company can say, well, we're trying to save you money, but your rates don't seem to ever go down. The broadcaster will say, hey, we spend to produce the shows you love, shouldn't we get paid? Is there a good guy in this? (Los Angeles Times)
