Does The Dishwasher Get A Taste, Too?

A restaurant in L.A.'s hipster district is asking customers to tip the cooks. They've added an extra line on the receipt for it. I thought restaurants pool tips and give the cooks a share, but I guess not. Still, if we start with this, eating out is going to become quite expensive. And what DO we tip the cooks? Another 20%? Do we split 20% between the servers and cooks? And won't the servers feel ripped off? (KTLA/Los Angeles)
