It's Not For Taking A Ride To Trader Joe's
-
Speaking of dangerous driving, the son of former San Diego Padres owner John Moores decided to take an Ariel Atom -- a race car, the fastest one that's still street-legal -- out for a spin, a very fast spin, and ended up getting killed when he lost control and ran head-on into an SUV. Now, I understand the appeal of driving super-fast, but you can't be doing it on regular old local roads with other people on them. Maybe you can take the 8 or 10 freeways out to the desert and Arizona where traffic's light and the road's straight and mostly flat for hundreds of miles, but not on suburban San Diego roads.
