Calling Harvey Richards, Lawyer For Children
-
A five year old skipped a friend's birthday party. The friend's mother sent him a bill for £15.95 to cover what she said was her out-of-pocket expense incurred because he didn't show up. And she threatened to take the boy's father to small claims court over it. Since there's no contract and a five year old can't consent to one anyway, there's no chance for this one, but how would you react if you got a bill for that? (BBC)
