Like Something Out Of 'The Shield'
-
A reverend, youth minister, high school substance abuse and anger management program leader, former head of an agency that was supposed to keep at-risk youth out of gangs, is being accused of shooting a teen in the back of the head execution-style. Okay, all together now: Whaaaaaaaat? Well, it turns out that the reverend allegedly was dealing pot, lured the teen with drugs and girls, and then things went bad and he allegedly tried to kill the kid. (And failed.) It also turns out that this pillar of the community, this anti-drug, anti-gang guy, allegedly has a mural of the Latin Kings gang in his apartment and has a tattoo matching that on two other suspects. And a neighbor said that he had complained to the police on many occasions about drug activity at the guy's apartment. So, an (alleged) blatant double life. (Boston Herald)
