We have talked about this before, but it bears repeating that "flushable" wipes aren't really flushable. Okay, you CAN flush them, but you can flush anything; you SHOULDN'T flush them, because they don't biodegrade or tear apart like regular toilet paper. And that means that in your pipes and in the sewer system, enormous icebergs made of wipes and trapped material are growing to massive proportions, leading, ultimately, to expensive repairs. The TL;DR version: Don't flush "flushable" wipes. They're trouble. (New York Times)
