Wait, Is A Cheesesteak Junk Food? 'Cause That Was My 11 PM Go-To In College
-
Here's a study of why people eat junk food instead of healthy food late at night, and it involves brain activity and the brain being turned off by the healthy stuff while finding the junk more appealing. That makes little sense, since I would assume we find the junk ALWAYS more appealing, not just late at night, but, okay, it's more of an explanation than I can come up with. At least they're trying to explain why you go for the Ring Dings and Funyuns instead of the apples and carrots at 11 pm. (KYW/Philadelphia)
