Maybe Not The Best Way To Pick Up Extra Cash. Perhaps You Should Drive An Uber

Remember the story we had recently about the Calgary house that AirBnB renters trashed in a huge house party? Turns out the renters used fake credit cards to pay for the rental, so now the cops don't know who they were and have to do more digging. Which raises the question: Didn't AirBnB run the cards first before renting the place out? I mean, you go to a hotel, the first thing they do is take a credit card and run a hold on it to make sure you're good for the bill and incidentals. Doesn't fill me with confidence if I'm renting my house through them. (CBC)
