What, exactly, is Verizon getting by buying AOL for $4.4 billion? The days of floppy disks inserted into magazines are long gone. The company makes money on leftover dial-up accounts, but it's really all about the Huffington Post, Engadget, sites like that. What's Verizon going to do with them? Who knows?
