You know the rash of accidents and injuries in national parks? They have a name for it all: vacation brain. Whether it's falling into a canyon or getting gored by a bison or getting lost in Death Valley in 120 degree temperatures or getting disoriented and dehydrated or even trying to hike across the Grand Canyon in full motorcycle regalia in 95 degree temperatures, people just aren't prepared for what they might encounter in the wild. They don't know what they're getting into, or they think they're prepared... and they're not. (Kansas City Star)
