Put up for auction: a racist Dr. Seuss cartoon from 1929. Really, really racist. We know he did stuff about the Japanese during the war, but this was pre-war and about black people... and I'm not going to repeat what it is; you can go look at it via the link. But nobody bid, so it's being held for any post-auction bids that might come up. They wanted a minimum of $20,000 for it, and who would WANT it? And as for the content, is 1929 an excuse? (CNN)
