Credit Cards Aren't Free Money
-
A guy is being sought by police for allegedly shooting and killing his wife in front of a marriage counselor's office, and now we have an idea about exactly what the stress was: They were in extreme debt, and what's appalling besides the murder is that they were making decent money -- six figures -- yet had spent it all. Some of it went to buy cars they couldn't afford, but they had loans on those, plus hocked one at usurious interest for a few grand in cash. If you're making $10,000 a month, what would plunge you into bankruptcy twice? Drugs? Bad investments? Indiscriminate spending? All of the above? (KNSD-TV/San Diego)
