Cracked Concrete? That's Okay, I'll Watch The Match On TV Instead
-
In 2007, Kuwait built a new national stadium. Since 2010, the stadium has been empty. What happened? At some point, somebody noticed cracks in the columns holding the stadium up. The contractor says that it's not a problem, and that nobody came to them to fix it. The insinuation is that the reason nobody will go there is that people are believing groundless rumors. Whatever the case, people there consider this a public shame, but it looks like they're actually going to use the place for soccer, possibly by the end of year. Knowing that there are cracks, would you feel comfortable going there? (CNN)
