It Might Be Cheaper Not To Bring Bags. Just Buy Everything Once You Get There
-
A global meeting of airlines has resulted in the decision to shrink the acceptable dimensions of carry-on luggage, and if you're wondering whether that means you're going to have to go out and buy a new bag, you probably will have to buy a new bag. (American carriers haven't agreed to it yet, but it's likely that they will.) If this strikes you as a way for luggage manufactures to make more money, you're correct. If this strikes you as a way that airlines can force you to pay more baggage fees, you're correct. If you're wondering why they don't just make the overhead bins larger, refer back to the increased money for bags and fees. (The Guardian)
