A former Delaware State U. volleyball player is suing the school because, she says, she was ostracized and lost her scholarship after her coach made it a requirement that her players attend church and Bible studies. That, at a state school, is not permissible. How anyone could think it WOULD be okay... well, let's ask this: Has a boss ever even insinuated to you anything about religion? I ask because it DOES happen -- my wife got that treatment from her managers at one station, because they thought she was Catholic. They didn't use it against her after finding out she isn't Catholic, but the possibility was there. Managers should leave religion out of the equation, but they often don't.
