The Things You (Can't) Do For Love
-
Should what your spouse is up to affect what you can do? In this case, perhaps: A New Jersey appeals court has ruled that a guy can't buy a gun because his wife's a felon. She has two drug convictions, one DUI conviction, and has been subject to her husband claiming to be a victim of her domestic violence due to her drinking. The man wanted a gun permit and said he'd lock them up away from her, and was merely replacing old 1940s-era guns he uses for target shooting with his son. There are two ways to look at this: You don't want her to have access to guns. But what if he wants to protect himself against her? Okay, maybe having a gun in ANYONE'S hands there is a bad idea.
