Carbon-Neutral Road Rage

Toronto redid Queen's Quay, a street down by the lake, to be the ultimate in biker and pedestrian friendly, with all sorts of special lanes and signals and striping to help them avoid cars. And that part may have worked, but they can't avoid each other, as this cyclist-pedestrian fistfight shows. A biker almost ran a stop sign and hit the walker, words were exchanged, and the pedestrian punched the biker in the face. Seriously, unless everyone has separate lanes and they never cross, you're going to have things like this happen. (Toronto Star)
