Earl Grey Might Have To Do, Guys
-
I love this one about a First Nations tribe in rural Quebec that is desperately trying to locate any remaining quantities of a precious substance of great importance to them: a discontinued blend of Salada tea. No, seriously, they want and need Salada Prior Park blend, which Unilever has discontinued due to poor sales. No other tea or brand will do. If Unilever won't resume production, the tribe would like the recipe to make it themselves. Why? Because it was the first tea they encountered, because they like the flavor, because the bags are strong for hunting and fishing expeditions. If you see the stuff left over at your grocery, you might want to tell them, and maybe pick up a box to send up there. But the topic here might be the brands you loved that are gone now, and what you'd do to bring 'em back. (CBC)
