There's this guy who hangs out at Green Lake in Seattle clad only in a thong, offering hugs. That's not what this story's about. It's that he's suing for, basically, clarification of a law that he fears will make it illegal for him to take photos of female sunbathers without their knowledge. Thing is, that's a) inexcusably creepy, and b) despite his concern, legal. If you're in public, you're fair game to be photographed if it's not for profit. In some cases, like taping police activity, that's a very good thing. For others, like some creep in a thong taking pictures for his own, um, use, that's... well, we have to take the good with the bad. (SeattlePI.com)
