All Washington state Chipotle restaurants and some in Oregon were closed in an E. coli scare -- they weren't certain of the outbreak's origin, but closed just in case. Which raises the question of how long you'd give it once they reopen before you'd chance it. These things sometimes destroy a chain -- you could argue that the Hep-A case killed Chi-Chi's, although it was already bankrupt at the time -- and sometimes don't - Jack in the Box is a good example.
