Taxpayers Don't Want This Thing. Why Isn't Anyone Listening To Us?

The thing that everyone seems to forget when talking about the NFL coming back to L.A.: traffic. The folks pushing the Carson stadium for the Raiders and Chargers say they have a plan that involves remote lots and buses and mass transit which nobody will use -- ask the Dodgers, who put in free bus shuttles which are empty -- but the 110 and 405 freeways are already a nightmare (and, yes, it's very bad on Sundays, too), and adding football traffic is not an appealing prospect, buses or no buses. (Full disclosure: I live not far from the proposed stadium sites and adding more traffic to the freeways and local roads will affect me, so I'm not impartial on this one.) (Daily Breeze, Torrance)
