A new study decries the fact that American teens, according to their estimate, only exercise an average of 39 minutes a day, and recommend that schools set aside an hour or so for vigorous exercise. A couple of things: First, 39 minutes is actually pretty good; they say we should all get 30 minutes of exercise a day, right? Second, kids already hate gym class. And third, do you want the kids to get really sweaty during the day, considering that most don't shower after gym class as it is? (Los Angeles Times)
