For years now, people have been saving calories by scooping bagels -- scooping the bready part out of the middle and leaving mostly crust. This New York Post article hyperbolizes that it's "ruining New York." But is it? Granted, it's not as good when you scoop out the guts, but it IS healthier. (Okay, I admit, I do that sometimes. Or I slice it into three parts and throw out the middle. Sorry.) (New York Post)
