If It's Any Consolation, We Don't Want Your Teams, Either
-
The Chargers, Rams, and Raiders all, as expected, filed their paperwork to move to Los Angeles. I can tell you as a resident of said target market that if this is gonna cost us a penny, we don't want it. We've gone 20 years without the NFL and life is just fine. (It's also why the planned stadiums are in smaller cities, Carson and Inglewood; if it came to a vote in the city of L.A. or the county, they'd never get it past the taxpayers.) But if they wanna come, we're going to get football back no matter what we want. (San Diego Union-Tribune)
