Michael Weatherly is leaving "NCIS" after 13 seasons, and you're probably wondering "who?" He's the guy who plays DiNozzo, and it raises the question of whether it's better to stick with a hit show (and the salary, and residuals) even if it renders you typecast and keeps you from doing other things, or quit earlier on and pursue your leading actor dreams. I'm not an actor, but I'd be happy with 13 seasons on a hit show even if I remained relatively anonymous and it meant I'd never, say, win an Oscar. I'd weep all the way to the bank. But I also understand why someone would want out at any stage. (Variety)
