Everyone Needs Space

This article points out something about the "tiny house" fad you see promoted on all those cable shows where people move into a 100-square-foot trailer and proclaim how happy they are being minimalist: A lot of the Tiny House brigade end up moving to larger homes because you can't live that way. What's amusing and appealing on TV is unlivable and a burden in real life. You can't own anything, because there's no room. Having to climb, with difficulty, into your loft bed wears very thin after a while. Using a bucket filled with sawdust as your toilet... no. Fun shows, but that life doesn't work.
