Used Car Dealers Aren't Known For Comedy, And This Won't Change That
-
A used car dealer in Prince Edward Island is taking heat for a loose-letter sign that posted a "bit of fun," namely the joke: "Women are like snowflakes. They can't drive." It didn't go over well. It's not funny, but are jokes like this worth public deploring or should we ignore it and just not patronize the business? And would you say the same thing if it insulted a racial or religious group? Or are we just playing into the hands of a business that craves the publicity the way Donald Trump, er, craves publicity? (CBC)
