Maybe They Should Switch To Twizzler-Based Wiring
-
A class action suit against Honda claims that the car maker knows that the soy-coated wiring it uses attracts mice, rabbits, and squirrels who eat the wire and refuses to acknowledge the problem or replace it. This is where environmentalism and practicality collide in a big heap of trouble. Honda says it uses the soy-based coating because it's biodegradable and better for the environment. The plaintiffs say that it's food for wildlife and left them with big repair bills. All I know is that we've on occasion lost our cable and internet service because squirrels ate the wires, so it really does happen. (Courthouse News)
