Boarding A Plane Isn't THAT Much Of A Problem
-
This guy decided to become a guinea pig for something you might think cool or creepy or downright dystopian: He had a microchip implanted so he can board a plane with the wave of his hand. He's in Sweden, where the security machines recognize Near-Field Communications chips. I imagine that this would not work quite so well at a U.S. airport, where even smartphone barcodes aren't always read so quickly. Would you get chipped to make your life easier, or would you be worried that someone could track you with it? (Toronto Star)
