It Never Rains In Southern California. Not Even When We WANT It To. Like, Say, Now
-
We were promised rain, lots of rain, maybe even mudslides and flooding by now. But so far, El NiƱo has been a bust. After a wet start to the winter, it's become very dry and, at this writing, flat out hot. It's supposed to cool off by Wednesday and we might get some drizzle, but so far, the drought-busting storms have yet to materialize. The experts insist that we will get those rains, but they're way off so far. We should be excused for thinking they don't know what they're talking about, at least until the next big storm.
