See Something, Say Nothing
-
How many times have we been told "see something, say something"? This guy was on a bus headed from South Carolina to New York when he noticed that a guy who'd been sitting on the bus very close to a bag was suddenly not on the bus, left behind at a rest stop. So he said something, and the authorities stopped and evacuated the bus as it approached the Holland Tunnel. And for his trouble, the other passengers turned on him. One even tried to tell police that the guy who reported the bag was crazy and had a bomb. Turned out that the bag was filled with cigarettes -- probably to illegally resell -- but no bomb. Which raises the question: Do you say something when you see something, or is it too much trouble? (NJ Advance Media/NJ.com)
