It's Not Their Entire Life. It's MORE IMPORTANT Than Life

Residents of McKinney, TX have voted to spend $220 million on local projects, including over $60 million for a new high school football stadium, more expensive than nearby Allen's palatial facility and close to the price that Katy, a suburb of Houston, is spending on their park. And those pale beside Frisco's splitting spending $255.5 million on The Star, which will double as the Dallas Cowboys' new practice facility and a high school stadium. I know, Friday Night Lights and all, but should ANY school ANYWHERE be committing that much money to a football field? (Dallas Morning News)
