Now, If They Can Only Explain All Those Fees Tacked Onto Your Bill
-
This article explains the mystery of why you get two key fobs chained together when you rent a car. There IS an explanation and it DOES make sense: so many cars are rented in one place and dropped off at another that they want to keep all the parts together. But if you lose one fob, you lose both, and you'll have to pay for TWO fobs and reprogramming, which is going to be doubly expensive. Budget, by the way, only gives you one fob, which is cheaper for you if you lose it. And now you know... the REST of the story. (Los Angeles Times)
