I'd Rather Not Have Anything Implanted Anywhere, To Be Honest
-
We've heard about people having RFID chips implanted in their arms -- "biohacking" -- so they can open locked doors or pay for things by waving their hands. Apparently, although the technology's been around for a while but there aren't too many places you can use it, some people are still into it. They don't care that all you can really do right now with it is open your own front door, which you can do with a key, too. Or that you can do anything else the chips can do with your phone, and without the trouble or the prospect of allowing third parties (and the government) to track your every move. Some people HAVE to be the first with everything, even if it's not necessarily a good or practical or desirable thing. (CTV News)
