'Win One For Donny' Is Easy To Say, Hard To Do
-
The topic you might get from the death of Vanderbilt pitcher Donny Everett in a drowning incident before the Commodores' SEC playoff game is how teammates can go out and play the next day. They tried- got rained out - and did play Sunday and lost, but is going out and doing what you'd normally do a good way to cope with tragedy or does it just delay the inevitable explosion of emotion? I don't know the answer -- when my dad died, I worked my regular hours through it purely on auto-pilot in an attempt to get my mind off of my grief, and I still don't know how I did that.
