Yeah, But Cutting Through There Saves Me 15 Seconds

The problem that first cropped up here in L.A. is now nationwide: Waze rerouting traffic through residential neighborhoods. People hate this. If your previously quiet road became a cut-through, you'd be upset, too, but your street IS open to the public, so what do you want, a private street? Meanwhile, I think the REAL problem with Waze is going unaddressed: It has a tendency to send you to intersections to make left turns where left turns are practically impossible due to traffic. No, you're not going to be able to make a left on Pico from a stop sign, no traffic light. I don't care much about the residential street thing, but the left turns onto major roads with no light, THAT I want fixed, now. (Washington Post)
