Bet He Likes To Say 'I AM The Law In These Parts'

A judge decided that a transgender man can't change his name, because the judge doesn't go in for all of this transgender thing. It's not the judge's place to make that call, is it? If a judge disapproves of a societal thing but the law doesn't agree with him, he can't just tell someone too bad, I won't do it? This is kind of like that Kentucky clerk who wouldn't issue marriage licenses to gay people. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
