It's The Frustration Talking
-
After missing that penalty kick in the Copa America final against Chile, Lionel Messi, the best soccer player in the world, said that he is retiring from international play, complaining that he's just no good at it. If a star comes up short, is the proper response to try, try again or is it to quit and say it just isn't happening? If you were the Argentinian coach, how pissed off would you be that your best player is just giving up and sticking to playing for the big bucks? (Los Angeles Times)
