Leave It To The League To Make The Cowboys Look Like The GOOD Guys

The Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear a decal on their helmets to honor the police officers killed in the shootings earlier this year and promote unity. The NFL told them they can't, because... well... they can't. I could understand if the decal was perceived as hostile to part of the community, but is unity a controversial stance? And they allow decals to honor deceased team members, so how is this that different? (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)
