Being Debt Free, Priceless
-
Millennials, battered by student loans and scared off borrowing money because of all the horror stories from previous generations, are slow to apply for credit cards. This is smart in that they don't roll up more debt. It's stupid in that they're managing to build no credit history, which means when they need to borrow to buy a house or car, there's nothing to base it on. Or maybe they don't want to buy houses, which we know is one way they look at it. (New York Times)
