I'd Hike In The Mall Until It Gets A Little Cooler
-
A woman died hiking in Joshua Tree National Park during a heat wave. Context: Joshua Tree (side note: It's amazing and you should visit there when the temperature's more moderate) is in the desert. We're talking 105, 110 degrees in Summer. Hiking in those temperatures is insane; hiking in those temperatures without enough water or SPF 50 or the right clothes is beyond insane. But, really, you can't hike in those conditions unless it's an emergency. I feel bad for the woman and her family, but common sense would tell you that hiking in extreme heat is a very poor decision.
