You know how athletes, especially football players, will drink pickle juice to prevent muscle cramps? Ever wonder why? They say it's to replenish electrolytes, but is it? Because the science isn't there. Studies show no benefit. Same for apple cider vinegar or eating mustard. But if it makes them THINK it's helpful, well, placebo effects are effects, right?
