None Of This Should Surprise You In The Least

More Trump fun, this time from literally down my street: At his golf course here in Rancho Palos Verdes, employees have testified that he insisted that women working there as restaurant hostesses had to be "pretty enough" and those who weren't needed to be fired. The employees, in testimony for a court case, said that they rearranged schedules so the most conventionally attractive women were on duty when Trump visited. Trump's company denies this, but a couple of things: First, was anyone, even his supporters, under the impression that he's NOT a sexist pig? I mean, he REVELS in that. And second, does an employer have a right to decide exactly who to put forward as the face of his or her business, and base it in any way on appearance? Because that's tricky. (Los Angeles Times)
