The Price You See Is The Price You Pay
-
The topic from Elon Musk taking his Tesla employees to task for offering discounts on new Teslas -- his rule is no discounts, full price for everyone, including himself -- is whether, when you buy a car, you'd rather just know a single, no-discount, no "sale" price, right up front, or whether you like the haggling. It's not like the present system does you any favors, after all. "MSRP" is a joke, and whatever price you pay will probably end up where they'd price the car if there was only one price. (I noticed, in buying two cars in the past year, that they don't leave much room for haggling anymore anyway.) (CNN Money)
