So, I guess we know how it's done: If someone wants to steal iPhones from an Apple store, they can send a swarm of people in at the same time, snip the security cords, grab the phones, and walk out. That's how a couple of mass thefts in the Boston area have gone, the latest lifting 19 devices, and maybe Apple might want to figure out how its security can thwart that. The phones, of course, can be easily disabled, but the thieves don't care; they're probably just going to foist the phones on some hapless schmucks who'll buy them on Craigslist. (Boston Globe)
