When I see stories about people who harass gay people, I wonder what would possess someone to get that irate over what someone else is doing that doesn't concern them. Why would you care if someone else is gay? Why would you feel the need to demonstrate your disapproval? Is it a need to display your macho bona-fides to your friends? In this case, a man allegedly poured water on a gay couple at a restaurant as he and his friends were leaving, and I will never understand why anyone would feel provoked by gay or lesbian couples or trans people or whatever.
