Isn't Columbia An Ivy School? Because Texting That Stuff Was Pretty Stupid

They don't go into specifics as to exactly what was in the private text messages that led to the suspension of Columbia University's wrestling season, only saying that they were "racial and sexual." Must have been bad, but, as with the Harvard case, the questions arise: Should people be punished for what they say or write in private? (These texts were in a closed chat app just for the team; someone uncomfortable with the chat leaked them.) And is this the end of the "boys will be boys" excuse? (New York Times)
