You Can Go Back To Not Caring About The All-Star Game... What? You Didn't Care Anyway?
-
Too late for years of pointlessness, Major League Baseball is finally ending the practice of giving home field advantage to the league that wins the All-Star Game. It will not be going back to alternate years, either. Now, the pennant winner with the best regular-season record will get the advantage, which is how it should have been all along. And the All-Star Game ("See Players Who Play Against Each Other in The Regular Season Play Each Other!") is back to being both pointless and harmless. (AP via ESPN)
