Making a very brief comeback in the NBA: the underhand free throw. Chinanu Onuaku came up from the D-League on Monday, took his "Granny" free throws, and was sent back down to Rio Grande Valley, leaving behind the legacy of being the first underhand free throw shooter since, probably, Rick Barry, who always tells anyone who'll listen that it's easier and more accurate to go underhand. But, you know, guys think it's "sissy." Seriously, they call it that. So, if you knew you could hit close to 100% underhand, would you brave the jeers and do it? (Washington Post)
